On my second stand this morning I had a male coyote come in while I was playing Prairie Dog Distress. He just trotted in nice and steady and started to circle to my left. I shot him at 48 big steps with a 3" 12 ga 1-1/2 oz reload of #4 Tungsten Super Shot. The coyote went straight down and didn't even wiggle.
Later in the day after making a bunch of blank stands I had another male coyote come up a ridge to my Fury while I was playing Snow Shoe Hi Pitch.
This coyote circled around to my right and peeked over the ridge at about 35 yards away so he got head shot with the TSS #4s.
I blanked on the next two stands and headed home at about 3:30 pm. It was a good day.
